The DuPage Pumping Station Water Filtration and Treatment Plant, constructed in early 1990 and located in Eastern DuPage County, receives and distributes more than 185 million gallons of water per day. The facility runs nine pumps and maintains a reservoir with a 30 million gallon capacity. From the medium-voltage power distribution to the pump power and controls, lighting and various systems located in the plant, Divane Bros. Electric was responsible for every aspect of the electrical installation on this project. The complex control center is equipped to monitor the delivery of water through more than 130 miles of transmission and feeder water mains to villages throughout the County. |
