Decorative lighting has complemented Chicago’s historic architecture since the advent of electric lights. Divane Bros. Electric Co. furnished and installed the street and pedestrian lighting on LaSalle St, in downtown Chicago. This project, in the heart of Chicago, required extensive coordination between contractors and the City of Chicago in order to keep this vital area functional. Conduits for lighting structures were installed in “vaulted” sidewalks, making this project far more difficult and demanding than most standard underground electrical installations. |
