Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District

Divane Bros. Electric Co. is providing the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District with an updated, computerized, 75 mile rail signal system. This design/build contract includes new solid-state grade crossing controllers, automatic signals, event recorders, cab signal code generators, electronic coded track circuits and track switch machines and heaters. In conjunction with a state of the art fiber optic communication system, this installation will result in improved, bi-directional, operating flexibility, automatic train tracking and better on-time performance.
