O'Hare ATS (People Mover)

The Airport Transit System (ATS), located at O’Hare International Airport, is a quick, convenient, and economical way to get around the airport. The ATS is a free, 24-hour rail system that operates between the three domestic terminals, the international terminal, and long term parking. Divane Bros. Electric Co. provided the traction power installation, including all sub-station work, for the operation of the fully automated system. The rail line spans 2.7 miles and accommodates up to 2,400 passengers per hour. From beginning to end – Terminal 1 to Remote Parking Lot ‘E’ – the travel time is just nine minutes.
