Over a two year span, Divane Bros. Electric Co. furnished and installed communications equipment and fiber optic and copper cabling along 15 miles of the Orange Line train tracks from Midway airport to the Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago. Divane Bros. Electric Co. later updated the system and relocated the Orange Line’s head end and communications equipment from the Merchandise Mart to the CTA’s new facility at 120 N. Racine.
