Blue Line Rehabilitation

Divane Bros. Electric Co. played a central role in the extensive renovation of the CTA Douglas Blue Line “L” train line. Safety and modernization concerns were rectified with the installation of a video surveillance system, updated lighting, public address system, SCADA system, SONET OC-48 networking, new communications head end equipment. Customers see fewer delays due to the two new and three rehabilitated DC Traction Power Substations and the new traction power rail in the 54th Street storage yard built and installed by Divane Bros. Electric Co.
