Divane Bros. Electric Co. assisted in the design and implemented the FAA required security guidelines for the airside/landside access system. Divane Bros. Electric Co. installed miles of excavated duct, power and fiber optic cable as well as card readers, CCTV cameras, security sensors to all doors, portals, and gates permitting access from the public areas to the airside operations area. Divane Bros. Electric Co. also assisted in the construction of a Taut Wire Perimeter Detection System, which spans almost 30,000 feet of O'Hare's West and Northwest perimeters. This system detects, alerts, and pinpoints potential intruders along the airport's less traveled areas.
